Dr. Indrajit Rana – Neurosurgeon

Dr. Indrajit Rana is a Neuro Surgeon with excellent management skills. He has over 5 years of experience in treating complex brain and spine problems like traumatic brain and spinal injury, brain stroke, brain tumors, spinal disc prolapse, spinal tumors, with a special interest in childhood neurosurgical problems like hydrocephalus and spinal birth defects.

Dr. Indrajit Rana is a graduate (MBBS) of Calcutta National Medical College. He has done his surgical specialization – Diplomate of National Board (DNB Gen Surg) from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He underwent superspeciality training in neurosurgery and obtained Doctorate of National Board (DNB Neurosurgery) degree from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He worked as neurosurgery resident in Medica Superspeciality Hospital, Kolkata and after that he worked in Apollo Hospital, Kolkata. He has worked as Tutor (Neurosurgery) in Malda Medical College & Hospital. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor (Neurosurgery) in R G Kar Medical College & Hospital, West Bengal.

He has worked with many eminent neurosurgeons during his career. He has numerous national and international publications and has spoken at many national meetings.
